Black & Neon

Hi! So the SUN is out in London Town! I've noticed that people’s moods have instantly lifted. I for one differently think it’s because of the SUN. One thing that makes my mood much brighter (other than my girl) is COLOUR! So when I saw this jumper I Just had to have it. All pictures were taken with allot of natural light (no flash) so that you could all see the true colour of my jumper. As always the sun was playing hide and seek, so pictures have different tones to them.

Hide and Seek

My girl was off to a Christening party. As she really wanted to wear those shoes, the rest of the outfit was built around them. Think the trousers break up the print nicely.

Look at her holding down her twist that refused to hang down. The good news is that her hat came to the rescue and flattered them down. She's lucky I'm cool, my mum use to make me go to school with plaits sticking up to the SKY!

This Lipstick smells like blueberries YUMMY YUM YUM. But you have too apply it about 10 times a day. However, this is not such a bad thing, as it creates this wicked ombre effect.

Monochrome

Black Coat with leather sleeves- ZARA

Tights- Topshop (they have little black spots on them and are also available from PRIMARK)

Headband- Accessorize-4 yeas old!
Lips- MAC- Ruby Woo
Dress- TOPSHOP-6 years old!
White shirt- ZARA

Another trend for Spring/Summer '13 is Monochrome. This trend is oh so wearable. For the simple fact that everyone looks good in black! Also, everyone will always have these two colours already in their wardrobes, so no need to spend a fortune to keep up with the fashion elite. Add a pop of colour with some nail art or like I did with my lipstick and you’re good to go.

Bubbles

Curl definition- unraveled about 10 medium size single plaits, that had been in for about five days.

So there you have it my smart, funny, beautiful and O so stylish ( well i think so ) 3 year old. Believe it or not she already has developed her own take on clothes and will tell me straight if she doesn't like/ feel comfortable in something.

Every now and again i buy her clothes from the boys department, because they have pieces that are to lovely to pass up. Or are in the sale! Her brown leather boots above where only £10.99 from Zara. So remember just because you don't have a son, does not mean you can't dress your princess like one. I like to keep it girlie buy adding a few girlie accessories. In this case it was these sweet bow hair clips and by leaving her hair out.

I will do a post soon on how i look after her hair and the products i use.

Denim

Who doesn't love a bit of good old DENIM?! Yeah i thought as much. Denim on Denim is one of Spring/Summers new trends. Now of course jeans have and always will be a staple in everyone's wardrobe, but this trend is more based on head-to-toe wear of the famous fabric.
Truth be told i could think of 101 things to do other than jean shopping. I was made with enough derriere to share with a few women and still have enough for myself! Yes i love it.........BUT most jeans DO NOT. Which means i end up buying a new pair of shoes to make myself smile. But only after i have wiped the sweat off my face after jumping up and down in the fitting room trying to fit into jeans that claim to be my size.

Miguel

So last weekend (12th Jan) i took my lovely niece to see Miguel in concert at Shepards Bush Empire for her 19th birthday.

Now i have been into Miguel for sometime now,since i first heard 'All i want is you' featuring the might of Jcole. I was like hmmmmm, who is this guy singing?! To my delight he wasn't a one hit wonder, he was here to stay with a banging first album and his follow up is just as great.

Now we all know what you hear coming out of your headphones ain't exactly the sweet sound you will hear when an artist is LIVE. But trust me Miguel is an artist. He can sing, dance and do the splits all at the same damn time like its nothing. At one point he got into a song so hard that his microphone dropped out of his hand.
Lets not forget Daley who was his support act for the night. He lacked in energy at times, but his vocals were floor-less and not every singer shakes a leg on stage. My favorite part was when he did his own take on R'n'B modern day classics, like Usher 'climax' and Maxwell's 'pretty wings'.
All in all GREAT NIGHT.......Go see him when he comes back.
